Malvern Walking Festival 2025

24 May 2025 to 01 June 2025

All available dates: 24 May 2025 to 01 June 2025

Taking place this year from Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June, the walks take place in and around the Malvern Hills as well as some a bit further afield in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

There are more than sixty walks available over 9 days of the festival, offering plenty of choice. There are multi-day walks, all day walks, and shorter half-day walks either in the morning, afternoon or evening. A lot of the walks are also
themed including wartime Malvern, Malvern’s Water Cure, farming, quarrying, geology, local history, beer, pubs and gardens, plus many others.

Each walk is graded from Gentle to Strenuous so no-one need let themselves in for more than they can handle. There are walks ranging from 3 miles to 32 miles. For the keen there is the iconic 19 mile Malvern Hills End2End and back, the Worcester Way over 1 or 3 days and the best of the Three Choirs Way in 4 days.

Commenting on the programme, Festival Chairman Peter Reynolds said: ‘The 2025 Festival will be our 20th anniversary since we started in 2004 and we are now one of the biggest in southern England. Last year we sold-out and received dozens of letters from walkers saying how much they enjoyed Malvern and the
surrounds. But we also received too many letters from walkers saying how disappointed they were not to be able to book onto their chosen ramble
as it was sold out. I therefore urge everybody to book early to save being disappointed. ‘We’re also pleased to confirm that we will again be supporting the Worcester Air Ambulance charity, although of course we sincerely hope we
will have no need of their services anytime soon.’

Booking and further information is available on the festival website as well as from the Tourist Information Centres in Malvern and Upton-upon-Severn.
