Malvern Folk Dance Club
St. Andrew's Church Hall, Churchdown Road, Malvern, WR14 3JX
All our dances are based on English traditional dance with a focus on the Playford style (just think ‘Pride & Prejudice`). No special clothing is required. No partner or experience is necessary as all dances are walked through and explained by a caller.
There is a different caller each week with regular outside callers invited. Members are also encouraged and supported to become callers if they wish.
We meet every Monday from 7.30 – 9.30pm. Each week is independent of the last so you can join any time. First session is free, then £2.50 per week (£20 per term) thereafter if you join. A cup of tea/coffee with biscuit is included during the interval.
The club also organises a number of special events throughout the year; these include an annual tea dance and end of term parties.
