The Lyttelton Well, Lyttelton Rooms
Visit our Cafe and Bookshop at The Lyttelton Well, Church Street, Malvern, Worcs, WR14 2AY
The Lyttelton Well was opened in April 1993 with the vision of providing a Christian Centre in the heart of Great Malvern serving the people of the town and beyond. That vision remains the same today. The Well supports and is supported by all the churches in Malvern and is actively involved in Churches Together in Malvern, providing them with a central meeting place.
The Lyttelton Rooms provide a venue for a variety of community related activities. An important part of our work focuses on our Counselling Service that is supported by the many different facets of our organisation.
There are three different sized rooms available for hire by the hour.
The Resource Room can accommodate up to 15 people and is suitable for small informal group meetings, with coffee and tea-making facilities.
The Guesten Room can accommodate up to 50 people in a theatre-style seating configuration and is often used for local craft and country markets, charity support groups and meetings. The room can be partitioned for increased flexibility. A portable projector screen is also available.
The Main Hall, upstairs, can accommodate a maximum of 100 people and is suitable for theatrical uses, art exhibitions, dance and keep-fit sessions, parties and business meetings; it also has a partition. This hall has a large fixed projector screen.
Both the Main Hall and Guesten Room have access to their own, separate kitchens equipped with ovens, crockery and cutlery.
There are toilet facilities for the disabled, as well as a lift to the first floor room (Main Hall) suitable for wheelchair access.
The rooms are situated in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory, providing a picturesque setting with the Malvern Hills behind.
