Elgar Choral presents 'Oh What a Beautiful Evening!'

06 July 2024

Village Green, Inkberrow, WR7 4DZ

Inkberrow, the model for the village of Ambridge in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers, welcomes the Elgar Chorale of Worcester in July. Their concert, Oh What a Beautiful Evening! offers the ideal way to celebrate a (hopefully) warm and balmy summer evening.

The Chorale will present a programme of popular pieces by composers including Brahms, Mendelssohn, Handel and Fauré. There’s also the chance for the audience to join in and sing along to pieces ranging from Jerusalem to a medley from Oklahoma!

The performance at St Peter’s Church in Inkberrow begins at 7pm on Saturday 6th July, giving concert goers full advantage of the evening sun in which to enjoy a glass of summer punch together.

Tickets are priced at £12.50 (students and U18s free) and are available by calling 07732 661500 or on the website of the Elgar Chorale, www.elgarchorale.com
