Licensed Davis Dyslexia Programme Specialist
Dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia, maths difficulties (dyscalculia), and autism are usually thought of and defined as lifelong learning difficulties. In law, they are defined as disabilities. The focus is always on what the person can’t do, the assumption is that the person will find these skills difficult for the rest of their life, and the emphasis is on strategies that will enable the person to “cope”.
