Day 98 - 8 April

This small window underneath the Abbey Gatehouse is known as ‘The Porter’s Squint’.

In the past, the Gatehouse was the only entry to the Benedictine Monastery. It was home to a porter, who used the window to check who was coming and going.

Today The Gatehouse is the home of the Malvern Museum of Local History, you can find out more by clicking here.
